Networking Event Expands to Include Entrepreneurs, Builders

Northwest Iowa BizBrew Launches as Areas Premier Networking Event

SPENCER, Iowa  StartupCity Spencer and the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation are excited to announce the launch of Northwest Iowa BizBrew, an informal networking event focused on bringing together entrepreneurs, business people and creatives.

We saw a great turn-out with the Technology Association of Iowas TechBrew event series, said Leann Jacobsen, StartupCity Spencer Co-founder. However, we felt that there were certain groups of people that were being left out that could certainly bring a new and fresh perspective to the conversation.

Focused networking events like the Northwest Iowa BizBrew series have caught fire across the state. This is not your average networking event – Northwest Iowa Biz Brew is about meeting other business people who share the mindset of building communities, companies and launching big ideas.

Strong relationships were made among local entrepreneurs, inventors and small business owners through Club-E networking events, said Brian Dalziel, Senior Vice President of the Iowa Lakes Corridor Development Corporation. Through our partnership with StartupCity Spencer in launching BizBrew, we will expand access to networking events for more individuals in the Corridor region.
